It reminded me that my sister and I had one each in our room when we were kids. I remember my dad spending hours getting them to work, which undoubtedly involved much swearing. But it was so worth it. I loved it when the couple would emerge from the little doors to the "Cuckoo Cuckoo", even if we were constantly arguing about which one belonged to who. Magic moments in the world of small people.
